It all began in 2001, when Jean and Josiane Saydawi opened the restaurant at 7 rue Pastorelli, in Nice. A family Lebanese cuisine, prepared every day by Josiane, served by Jean.

At Saydawi, Josiane is the one who cooks. The same recipes since 2001, prepared every day with the same care. Hummus by hand, tabbouleh by knife, marinated grills. Nothing changes because nothing needs to change.

Jean's table

Jean welcomes. Since the opening, he is the one who greets you and shows you to your table. He wanted Saydawi to be a place you come back to, not because it's trendy, but because you feel good there.

Twenty-five years later, many of our guests have become regulars. Some, friends.
